Jack Blitz

Jack Francis Blitz, (1921-2001)

Married to Doria L O Blitz, 3 children, Peter D E Blitz, Nicholas W S Blitz, and Paul L M Blitz.

All of the family history, to be presented elsewhere, was researched by Jack Blitz, my father.

Jack used to enjoy writing limericks, and tried to encourage (not too successfully!) my oldest son, Michael, to also try his hand at writing them. He included in the paperwork of the family history a sheet, dated 17 July 1995, and entitled:

“A lament about non-rhyming names”

(some doggerel by JFB, dedicated to his grandson, Michael, & to be kept for posterity in the Family Official History).

Well, I’ve gone one better, and put it online for others to enjoy!!!
